Walk softly

Walk softly through the meadow.
When life is not just what it seems.
As hopes and aspirations.
Seem to crumble at the seams.
Take time to drink in the fresh air.
And fill your lungs with hope.
Swing your arms all about yourself.
Like a child with it's skipping rope.
Walk softly through the meadow.
Tarry awhile barefoot in the grass.
Let the sun shine upon your face.
And feel the freshness there at last.
Walk softly through the meadow.
Who knows what you may see.
Some little piece of nature.
That makes your heart sing out with glee.
Relax and let nature take the trouble.
That lies within your heart.
Then walk softly through the meadow.
As from that 'paradise' you part.
